Fangirling with Abi: My Little Pony: Friendship is magic Season 5 Episode 13: "Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?"

Hey guys!
So, as you know it's Saturday today which means there was a new pony episode today (and if I'm right, it's the last one for a little while...) and it was a Luna-centered episode and all I can say is that I LOVED IT! It was truly an amazing episode. I loved how we saw more of Luna's personality and true emotions. we saw badass Luna, we saw caring Luna, we saw dreamscape Luna, we saw self-hating/guilty Luna...

I actually really liked seeing these different sides of Luna that the show never really explored until now (especially badass Luna and guilty Luna).
**SPOILERS BELOW**

The episode began with Luna standing in the castle of the two sisters (I love that castle by the way! It's so cool! I'd want to live there!) and she turns into Nightmare Moon (again). At that point, Twilight and her friends arrive and use the rainbow power to change her back to Luna. After that, Luna wakes up in a panic about her dream ending on a lighter note.

The scene changes to Ponyville (specifically the Carousel boutique) where the mane 6 are grooming their pets. They all look exhausted and it is latter revealed that they all had nightmares the night before involving a blue smoke-thing.

Twilight sends a scroll to Princess Luna asking if she knows anything about it and it is then revealed that the creature is called a Tantabus and it's basically a creature that lives in Luna's nightmares and apparently escaped her dreams. The mane 6 later learn of the danger the Tantabus holds for Equestria should it get strong enough to enter the real world and leave the dreamscape.

That night, when the mane 6 go to sleep, Luna enters their dreams in attempt to capture the Tantabus. When that fails- and we find out Pinkie got the rest of Ponyville involved in all of this by dreaming of them- Twilight suggests trying to get everypony to have the same dream (seeing as it would be damn near impossible for Luna to try to catch it if she has to go into each individual dream of everypony in Ponyville)

The shared dream was crazy hillarious! Giant Derpy, Flutterbat, Princess Macintosh, the list is endless! During all this craziness, we learn that Luna created the Tantibus to give herself the same nightmare every night to punish herself for what she did as Nightmare Moon. (This is the part where I started to feel bad for Luna even more than usual!) We then figure out that it's Luna's guilt that is giving the Tantabus power, the girls tell Luna that she needn't feel guilty anymore, for it was all in the past.

The following morning, Luna succeeded in getting rid of the Tantabus and was fast asleep on the floor. The episode ends with us getting a glimpse of Luna's dream.
